Can I just say something? It is so good to be near family again.
Before we moved back to Utah, we had to go where the job was. Right out of BYU, my husband was incredibly blessed with a job for an engine company that moved us with our tiny 8 month old boy to a small apartment in the rural city of Columbus, Indiana. Surrounded by corn fields and some incredible people, we enjoyed time to ourselves in establishing our family traditions and relationships on our own. Does that make sense? I feel like that time really helped us in so many ways! We learned to rely more on each other and created this base of our parenting style that has helped SO much over the years. Sometimes that uninterrupted time can really help those foundations become stronger.
After a short 2.5 years there, we had the opportunity to move out to Denver. It was a dream! Being there meant it was only an 8 hour drive from our house through the gorgeous mountain scenery to our family in Utah. Pretty sure that first year we drove out over 8 times for some major family functions, weddings and all that good stuff! It was so fun to feel apart of things again, and bonus, we didn't have to spend a crazy amount on plane tickets to get there! Life was so good and we really loved our life in Denver! Good friends, and a home that after painting every inch, became my favorite place to be.
Little did we know that things could get better. Knowing that they were going to be closing the office location in Denver, we were given the freedom to have Ryan work from home full time. Which finally allowed us to make a huge change and move ourselves to Utah!
We finally came FULL circle!
It's been a dream, and to be honest, has been SO worth it to see my own kiddos grow up nearby their cousins. Something I missed out on as a child. I am so incredibly grateful this season for family and the love and support they truly can offer. Life is pretty dang good!
ANYWAY, my long winded post was to introduce this next family. Which, I am lucky enough to call them part of my own! This is my brother in law and his beautiful family. I just love them so much and am so happy to have them in our life!
I would love to work with you! Please contact me to schedule your next session!
