Lassig Family | Sandy, Utah | Utah family photographer

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

On the way to this session the weather was all over the place. Crazy windy, over cast, then suddenly rain spurts for a few minutes at a time as I was driving north on the freeway from Spanish Fork.. I honestly didn't think it would work out at all. But, we decided to risk it.

As I rounded Thanksgiving point towards Sandy, everything calmed. The sun started peaking through a bit behind the clouds. The grounds were dry, and we had a solid 30 minutes to get this beautiful family behind the camera. It was a miracle! Granted by the end alllll of that changed quickly, (note the gray sky.. ) BUT we got our shots in and I was a happy camper!

PS Isn't this dolly the cutest little thing ever? She's just a couple months younger than my little girl, and I couldn't get enough of her. To be honest, she wasn't super stoked about this shoot, and who can blame her! Shooting with littles is always a little challenging at times, but MORE than worth it! We got a lot of playing and interacting shots that captured the love that these sweet parents have for her. Which is really what its all about, right? I mean, look at that sweet face!

Don't be worried about the stages your kids may be in. Terrible twos? Threes? Even grown 45 year old husbands.. I am totally flexible, we will play, take breaks and enjoy our time together no matter what! Plus.. if you're really worried, bribery of some kind usually helps. ;)

I would love to work with you! Please contact me for your next family session.
